Grading & Award DVD now ready

This covers the 10th Kyu grading, Addington Hills, Testimonals, Award night.

Appologies for the delay in getting this finished. There were technical issues with the software used to make them, and in the computer over heating and crashing. I thank Hardeep for offering to contribute to a new PC, but I declined and got a super new fast, powerful PC myself.

Grading & Award Photos

Dash has pictures of the Addington Hills grading, and the Award ceremony on 14th July. Make your order direct with Dash at £2 each.

List of awards

This was due on the website by now, but as a lot of you had written down your wrong kyu level, it has got delayed. This may also have affected what belt you received on the award night. This will be rectified shortly. Check the website soon.

Summer of Sport

Summer of Sport is your chance to take part in a sporting activity this summer. With a range of free events to choose from its a great way to try a new sport. Thornton Heath Kyoikenkai Karate Club has registered to be involved with this scheme.

Competition

• Prize: is a brand new punch bag and junior gloves (donated by Simon Hughes).
• How To Win: write between 100-200 words on what you like about the club. Two of the words should be your full name!
• Testimonal Page - Some, many, or all of the submissions shall appear on our Testimonals page.
• Submit entries: Either click here to send an email (prefered) or hand your entry to Jasbir at the club.
• Photo - as a photo might be placed beside your testimonal on the site, please indicate which photo in the gallery best represents yourself, or send a new photo.
• Judging will be done by Sensei Hardy and Sensei Lockwood.
• Closing date: Still to be decided, but possibly in 1st week of September
