If you have never taken part in a karate training session before or are used to just dropping off and picking up your kids from the Club each week, then this evening is especially for YOU!
On 22 September the Club opens it doors to the whole community to come and see what we do at the Club and have a TASTER SESSION in the art of Karate. We want to particularly encourage parents of our Club members (and especially mums) to have a go.
The Open evening will run from 6pm to 9pm with an exciting training session for newcomers from 7pm to 8pm.
No previous experience is necessary to train and it doesn't matter what level of fitness you are. Wear light loose clothing (e.g. t-shirt and jogging bottoms). All you need to bring is a bottle of water and your enthusiasm!
During the evening there will also be kata workshops, videos of past Club gradings, training equipment to try out, and opportunities to talk to our experienced senseis (instructors) and karateka (students).
The event is being supported by London Summer of Sport, Mayor Ken Livingstone's initiative to get more people active and try new sports. Visit Summer of Sport Website for more details.
The evening is FREE so please do encourage as many of your friends, neighbours and family to attend also. Who knows you may even enjoy yourself!
For more information please feel free to contact Sensei Hardeep Panesar. (See Contacts page.)
This is a polite reminder that you should pay up for your class before the class starts. There will not be a club secretary available once the class starts.
This will allow Jasbir to get on with his training, and avoids any disruption to the class.
If you have not bought one yet, please tell us why!
Dash has pictures of the Addington Hills grading, and the Award ceremony on 14th July. Make your order direct with Dash at £2 each.
Still waiting for this!
Forgive me, I think I left out some news. Let me know what is missing. Simon
